Habtamu Weldeyohannes, trained on Communications and Journalism, has served as a communication and partnership relations focal point and advisor in governmental institutions and projects for more than five years. He was a chief communications advisor to the Association of Education and Training services for Children with Disability from 2010- 2011. Habtamu also acted as a communication focal person between UNESCO/IICBA and Hawassa CTE on UNESCO’s China Fund in Trust pilot project. He also served as a chief content manager for the official website of Hawassa CTE and overseen the design and production of communications materials including USAID/British Council/Link Community Development supported HIV/AIDS and Reproductive health communication materials. Habtamu was a content developer and co-host in an English community edutainment Radio program, “ELIC Panorama” aired for two years in Fana Broadcasting Corporate, Shashemene FM 103.4. He also acted as a content analyst for GIZ Conflict Resolution and peace Building campaign’s “Telling Our Own Peaceful Stories” booklets and other promotional Materials.
